Arqor is operated by Arqor Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17380863
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function properly, remember your preferences, and provide information to the site owner.
2. How we use cookies
Arqor uses cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. With your consent we also measure which pages are used, with a service that sets no cookies. We do not load any non-essential cookie or script without your explicit permission, and we do not use advertising trackers at present.
3. Cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the site to work. They cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Supabase authentication session | Session / 1 year |
| arqor_consent | Stores your cookie preferences | 6 months |
3.2 Analytics
With your consent we use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are used. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device: each visit is identified by a hash of your IP address and browser that is discarded at the end of the day, so visitors are not tracked across days or across other websites. It loads only after you click “Accept all” or enable Analytics in your cookie preferences, and never on a page you open from a site QR code or a share link.
We also use Vercel Speed Insights, which measures how quickly pages load. It sets no cookies and sends no identifier, so it runs without consent. We do not currently use Google Analytics; if we ever do, it will load only with your Analytics consent.
3.3 Marketing cookies
None are set at present. The Marketing switch in your cookie preferences exists so that if we add advertising measurement in future it can only load with your permission.
3.4 Payment cookies
Stripe may set cookies when you interact with the payment form to process your payment securely and prevent fraud. These are essential to payment processing and governed by Stripe's own cookie policy.
3.5 Video cookies
Our videos, the how-tos and the film on our front page, are hosted by Adilo. Nothing loads from Adilo until you press Watch on one. Then the video plays in Adilo's player, which sets its own cookies to play it and counts how much of the video is watched, under Adilo's own cookie policy. If you never press Watch, Adilo sets nothing.
4. Trade user local storage
Trade users who access the Service via QR code do not receive cookies. Instead, a session token is stored in the browser's localStorage to maintain their session during the working day. This is not a cookie but serves a similar function. It contains the trade user's name and trade type and can be cleared by the trade user at any time.
5. Changing your preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie Preferences” link in the site footer. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using the Service.
6. More information
