Price a re-roof, a repair or a flat roof from your own rates. Starter rates offers the everyday rates for a roof: stripping off, scaffold, plain and interlocking tiles, slates, ridges, hips, valleys, verges, leadwork, rooflights, gutters and a felt flat roof, each for you to check and confirm.
Measured at the pitch
Draw the roof on the plan and give it its pitch, and the slope is priced on its true area, not the plan area. Mark each ridge, hip, valley, verge and eaves as an edge, and each is measured at its true length.
A completion record for every roof
Record the covering, the underlay, the fixing specification to BS 5534, whether the work was notifiable and how it was notified, and the guarantee, on the job. Sign it on the screen and print it on your letterhead for the customer.
RAMS for roof work
Start from Arqor’s risk assessment and method statement for roofing, which covers work at height, fragile surfaces, falling materials, the weather and hot work for torch-on felt, or keep your own. Arqor fills in the job’s copy, and you check it, amend it and sign it before anyone works to it.
Photos of every layer
Photograph the battens, the underlay, the flashings and the finished roof. Each photo keeps its time and place and is pinned to the plan, so what is under the tiles can still be shown.
CIS and the reverse charge on your invoices

Can I measure a roof at its pitch?

Yes. Draw the roof on the plan, give it its pitch, and the slope is priced on its true area. Each ridge, hip, valley and verge you mark as an edge is measured at its true length, so the tiles, the battens and the ridge come off one drawing.

Does Arqor notify building control for me?

No. You notify through your competent person scheme or building control as you do now, and the completion record keeps how it was notified, the date and the reference, with the guarantee beside it.

Can I invoice a main contractor under CIS?

Yes. Tick This invoice is under CIS, put in the materials at cost and choose the rate, and the invoice shows the deduction and what is payable to you. Tick Domestic reverse charge applies and the invoice states it instead of charging VAT.

Do I pay more for a bigger crew?

No. Unlimited site users are included on every plan. Anyone working on your site scans the QR code and starts adding photos, with no account and no app. On Trades and Contractors you pay a licence for each person in the office who quotes, invoices or uses Arqor Smart Email. Site managers and foremen who do neither are free.

Is there an app?

Yes. The Arqor app is on the App Store and Google Play. Your own people sign in with an email link and Face ID, and see their day, clock in, take photos onto the plan, photograph receipts, sign RAMS and message the office. What they see depends on your plan. Anyone else on site needs no app and no account: they scan the QR code on the site board.

Does it work without signal?

Yes, in the Arqor app. Photos, notes and clocking in and out are held on the phone with no signal at all and go up when you are back in coverage, each at the time it happened.

What is Arti?

Arti is the help built into Arqor. Ask how to do something and Arti answers from Arqor’s own manual, with a link to the page it read. When the manual does not cover your question, Arti says so and sends it to our team, so you are never left with a guess. Owners and managers can also ask who owes them money or which quotes to chase, and the figures come from your own invoices and quotes.

Who owns my data?

You do. Each company’s data is kept separate, and the AI learns only from your own jobs, never from anyone else’s.

How does the early-adopter offer work?

The first 50 firms to join Arqor for Trades or Contractors before 31 March 2027 get 25% off their first year, paying monthly or yearly.
